Duke Down, Still Not Out

We pick up the action on the flop, heads up between Annie Duke and Daniel Alaei. The board showed {J-Clubs} {2-Spades} {A-Spades}, and each player put in three bets.

Fourth street came the {J-Spades}, and fifth street the {10-Spades}. Alaei bet both streets, with Duke quickly calling fourth and not so quickly calling fifth.

In the end, Alaei tabled {A-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {K-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} for jacks full. Annie tapped the table and flipped her cards into the muck. She's been crippled once again, back down to about 60,000.
