Chad Batista raised to 1,200 from middle position, and it folded back around to Samdor Namjan who called from the small blind. Ted Forrest emitted a "okay-why-not" chuckle, and called as well from the big blind.

The flop came {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. Both blinds checked, Batista bet 2,625, Namjan called, and Forrest skedaddled. The turn was the {5-Hearts}. Namjan again checked, Batista bet 6,600, and Namjan made the call.

When the river card fell, the {3-Diamonds}, Namjan quickly tossed out a single dark green chip for a bet of 25,000. Batista didn't think too long before tossing out his own matching dark green chip. Namjan showed pocket eights, and Batista turned over {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} to claim the pot.

Batista is up to 176,000, while Namjan has slipped to 62,000.
