Eastgate Shown the Door

Peter Eastgate
Peter Eastgate
A short-stacked Peter Eastgate pushed all in with his last 22,600, and after a short bit of deliberation Keith Lehr made the call.

"The reigning world champion is all in!" cried their tablemate, the bearded Andy Black. Eastgate turned over {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and Lehr {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}.

The flop came {Q-Spades}{2-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}, giving Lehr the set but Eastgate outs to Broadway. But the turn was the {8-Spades} and the river {3-Diamonds}. About four-and-half hours after having announced "Shuffle up and deal," Eastgate is out.

Lehr now has 290,000.
