Phil Laak Doubles Through Steve Sung

Phil Laak opened the action with a raise to 3,200 from early position and got three callers-- Chad Batista, Steve Sung, and Sandor Demjan. All four players checked the {A-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {6-Spades} flop.

The turn paired the board with the {A-Diamonds}. Demjan and Laak checked over to Batista, who bet 7,400. Sung smooth-called, Demjan folded and Laak raised to 18,500. Batista mucked and Sung called.

The river was the {K-Clubs} and Laak moved all in for his remaining 24,500. After a lengthy think, Sung made the call, mucking his hand once he laid eyes on Laak's {A-Hearts} {10-Clubs} for trips. Laak doubled to 107,000 on the hand while Sung's stack sunk to 56,000.
