Golser Doubles

Stud

Picking up the action on fifth street, Markus Golser bet and Chris Amaral folded showing {Q-Spades} {5-Hearts} {9-Clubs}. Matt Hawrilenko made the call. On sixth, Golser bet all in and Hawrilenko called again.

Hawrilneko: ({7-Hearts} {3-Hearts}) {9-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} (X)
Golser: ({5-Diamonds} {4-Spades}) {4-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {2-Clubs} (X)

Hawrilenko pulled a {3-Diamonds} and couldn't beat Golser, who pulled a {9-Diamonds}. Golser was able to double up to back over 40,000 chips.

Frangos Gone

Nick Frangos Eliminated
Nick Frangos Eliminated
Omaha-8

Nick Frangos was short stacked and all in preflop against James Van Alstyne.

Frangos: {A-Hearts}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Van Alstyne: {A-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{K-Clubs}

Frangos held the lead and looked a chance to double up when the first four community cards were spread {4-Spades}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{J-Clubs}. However the {7-Hearts} on the river was a horrible card for Frangos as Van Alstyne made a pair of sevens to go with the nut low.

Frangos is eliminated in 30th place as Van Alstyne increases his stack to 150,000 chips.

Hawrilenko Spikes Set

Hold'em

Matt Hawrilenko has just taken down a nice pot after check-calling the whole way until the river where his opponent checked behind.

The board read {3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{J-Spades}{4-Spades} and Hawrilenko was left ruing a missed bet on the river but he scooped the pot, showing {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. He's up to 285,000.

Flying Dutchman Loses Wings

Marcel Luske Eliminated
Marcel Luske Eliminated
Hold'em

Marcel Luske has been traveling well today but he's just been eliminated at the hands of Tim Finne.

Luske was all in on the turn holding the best pair with his {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} on a board of {9-Spades}{K-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades} as Finne tabled {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}. However the river was the {2-Spades} to give Finne the flush and eliminate the popular Dutchman from the tournament.
