Another Day In the Books

Chau Giang will be looking for his fourth bracelet tomorrow

Day 2 began with 197 players returning from the first day of action. Many of them fell by the wayside on the voyage to the final table. Although we failed to reach the final table, 21 players still remain. Those remaining in the field include Matt Hawrilenko, Chris Amaral, Chau Giang, Gavin Smith, Ylon Schwartz, and James Van Alstyne. Pros such as Marcel Luske, Nick Frangos, Matt Glantz, and Barry Greenstein all busted out today, but each of them placed in the money.

Zac Fellows looks to be our chip leader going into the final day of action. He holds approximately 470,000 chips. The next closest competitor looks to be James Van Alstyne with around 450,000 chips. Tomorrow's day has be switched to begin at 1:00 PM local time to accommodate for the abundance of players we have finishing out today.

Schwartz Ends on a Positive Note

Ylon Schwartz has had a good day at the office. He's been comfortable with chips all day and will end it a positive note after collecting a nice Stud pot against Matt Hawrilenko.

We caught the action on fifth street, with Schwartz leading out and Hawrilenko raising. Schwartz made the call and that slowed Hawrilenko down as sixth and the river were checked down.

"Just kings" said Schwartz showing ( {K-Diamonds}

said "It's good" and mucked.

Schwartz climbs to over 200,000 with one-time chip leader Hawrilenko back to 140,000.

William McMahan Eliminated

William McMahan was all in preflop against a few opponents. All the other players in the hand played passively and at the showdown, {A-Spades}

was the winning hand on a board of {9-Spades}

. McMahan simply mucked without showing and was bounced from the tournament in 22nd place.

Aces Up Does It For McKain

Brian McKain has doubled up through Tim Finne, after firing bets the whole way on a board of {Q-Clubs}

. Finne was on the button and called him down but couldn't beat McKain's {A-Hearts}

for "aces up".

McKain doubles to about 110,000 chips.

Flying Dutchman Loses Wings

Marcel Luske has been traveling well today but he's just been eliminated at the hands of Tim Finne.

Luske was all in on the turn holding the best pair with his {9-Diamonds}

on a board of {9-Spades}

as Finne tabled {3-Spades}

. However the river was the {2-Spades}

to give Finne the flush and eliminate the popular Dutchman from the tournament.
