Yup, even more famous faces spread across the three gigantic poker factory floors.

- Mike Pesek
- Darus Suharto
- Lars Hougaard (that's Jesper's younger brother, in case you're wondering)
- Daniel Zink (although identical twin Sebastian is nowhere to be seen)
- EPT Grand Final winner Pieter de Korver
- Vitaly Lunkin
- Maridu Mayrinck
- Andrew Feldman
- pink-haired Brit Kevin O'Leary
- diminutive Brit Lawrence Houghton

How Are They Doing?

Humberto Brenes: 6,300
Marc Naalden: 12,000
John Tabatabai: 4,500 and sharing a table with Elky
Elky: 7,000 and sharing a table with John Tabatabai
Gavin Griffin: 6,000
UK online legend Chris Moorman: 10,000 ("...Although it won't last long. I'm hoping to get out of here early to go rail JP [Kelly, chip leader going into the final table of the $1,500 Pot Limit]")
Chad Batista: it's possible he was just nipping out for a smoke or something, but he was spotted walking down the corridor entirely sans chips, so busto is a definite possibility

Yeh, Baby

It's looking good for a round of drinks for the PokerNews team -- Anthony Yeh is up to a commanding 10,800.

The chips went on the turn of a {7-Spades} {6-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} board, Yeh pushing with {7-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} for top set and his opponent calling with {5-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} for the up and down. Yeh filled up when the {2-Spades} hit the river, and he is now up there in terms of chips.

Morelli Welcomed to the Table

A gentleman raised from the cutoff and it folded to Mari Lou Morelli on the big blind, who reraised. Back to the cutoff and he moved all in for 2,350 total. "Welcome to the table," he told her with a smile. After some time in the tank, Morelli folded pocket queens face up -- and the cutoff showed her pocket aces for her trouble. Piped up another player, "Welcome to the table." Indeed.

Morelli's still doing fine on 5,500 though.

Rule Britannia

An excellent turnout for Britain today. As well as luminaries Neil Channing and Surinder Sunar, we have well-known circuit players Mark Teltscher, Andrew Teng, Jerome Bradpiece, Sunny Chattha, Michael Greco, Mike Ellis, Priyan de Mel and Praz Bansi, the latter fresh off his 7th place finish in the $1,500 no-limit six-max event last week.

Who Else Is Here?

We fully expect players to continue trickling in for the first couple of levels, but some more who made it into the Amazon Room only slightly late are Jimmy Fricke, Mark Seif, Lee Watkinson, J.J. Liu, Isaac Haxton, Ivan Demidov and Alex Jacob.

Poker Media Represent

Among today's impressive field, we have the imposing figures that are PokerNews' own Anthony Yeh, and from an evil rival media outlet (nah, it's all love in the press room), we have one Marty Derbyshire. Drinks are on them if they go deep!

Dropping Like Flies?

For a while the board was claiming that of 2,449 runners, only 2,098 remained. Though eminently possible, it did seem a little unlikely midway through level one -- and indeed, the latter figure has since disappeared from the board, suggesting that it was merely some sort of typo. Nevertheless, extreme carnage is expected today...
