Harman Chips Up

Jennifer Harman and Gavin Smith have just chopped a pot of Stud-8 with Harman collecting the high with two pair as Smith made an eight-low. After the hand there was some confusion by the dealer as to who should get the extra chip in the pot. It was tossed to Smith, but then corrected to be given to Harman.

"See how many chips he has...I need every chip I can get!" laughed Harman, as the dealer still seemed confused.

However Harman didn't have to worry about needing chips a few minutes later as she scooped a pot to eliminate a short-stacked player. The action folded around to Harman who attacked the bring-in. Her opponent raised and led the betting on fourth street before being all in on fifth.

Harman improved dramatically to make a full house and leave her opponent headed for the rail. She's now up to about 28,000 chips.
