Jim Geary Eliminated 7th ($32,404)

Jim Geary got his final chips in the pot after a flop of {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{A-Clubs} vs. Ed Smith and Thang Luu.

Smith and Luu checked the turn and river, which brought the {6-Clubs} and {6-Hearts}. Luu mucked, while Geary showed aces and 8s for two pair and Smith showed the {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for the flush.

Geary left the tournament with $32,404.

Reslock Mucks to Luu

Ming "Joy" Reslock raised and Thang Luu called from the big blind. The {Q-Spades} {9-Clubs} {7-Hearts} flop induced a check from Luu. Reslock fired and Luu called.

The turn brought the {4-Spades} and the same action occurred, check, bet, call.

The river was the {3-Spades} and Luu fired first this time. Reslock tanked for a few minutes and then mucked her hand, giving the defending champion the pot.
