Flowers Doubles Through Tran

Dallas Flowers is getting the most play possible out of his short stack.

When J.C. Tran limped under the gun, Flowers pushed all in for 48,000 from the button, and Tran called.

Flowers: {4-Hearts}{A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}
Tran: {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{J-Clubs}

When the board fell {6-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{K-Spades}, Tran held nothing more than a pair of jacks, which couldn't topple Flowers' aces. Flowers now has 110,000.

Flowers Doubles Through Tran - Again

Dallas Flowers and J.C. Tran tangled once again and, again, Flowers came out on top. When Flowers bet 40,000, Tran raised to 100,000, and Flowers pushed all in. Tran called and we saw the cards.

Flowers: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{J-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Tran: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

A flop of {J-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} gave Flowers a set and the nut flush draw, which he completed when the board finished {Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. Flowers now has 246,000.

Ross Boatman Visits the Bank of J.C. Tran

Poor J.C. Tran. First he had to go and double up the short stacks. Now he's doubling up the mid-stacks.

Ross Boatman opened for 34,000 from the cutoff and Tran called from the small blind. The flop came down {K-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {2-Clubs} and both players checked. The turn came the {5-Spades} and Tran fired out 80,000. Boatman made the call.

The river fell the {2-Diamonds} and Tran pushed out another 240,000. Boatman tanked for several minutes before calling all in for 200,000.

Boatman showed {A-Diamonds} {A-Spades} {6-Hearts} {4-Spades}. His aces and deuces were good, and he doubled up to 640,000. Tran is down to 375,000.

Aces Hold for Leandri

Aces have been kind to Jean-Philippe Leandri tonight. In his most recent double up, Theo Jorgensen raised to 40,000 from the cutoff and Leandri moved all in for 154,000 from the small blind. Jorgensen called

Leandri: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Jorgensen: {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

When the board came {K-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{A-Spades}, Leandri rivered trip aces and doubled up to 308,000.

Leif Force - 10th Place
Leif Force - 10th Place
Down to his last 51,000, Leif Force moved all in from UTG, Theo Jorgensen called from middle position and Jeff Kimber re-potted to 228,000 behind him. Jorgensen got out of the way and the cards were turned up.

Force {Q-Clubs} {7-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {5-Clubs}
Kimber {A-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}

The board ran out {K-Spades} {8-Clubs} {2-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {3-Clubs}, Kimber sending Force to the rail on the final table bubble with aces and eights.
