Ten High No Good

Neng Lee and a player in the SB were battling it out on a {7-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} {J-Spades} flop. The SB led out for 10,000 and then called Lee's raise to 30,000. The {8-Clubs} came before the SB led for 60,000 and was called. They both checked the {7-Hearts} river and Lee's {K-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} was good over the SB's {5-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}.

Lee up to 510,000.

Clap Your Hands Say Yeh!

Phillip Yeh pushed UTG for 96,500 before Philippe D'Auteuil pushed all in behind him for around 60,000. Then it got more interesting, David Fox declared all in too in third position for about 110,000.

If you thought that was enough, you'd be wrong as the button then moved in too and the blinds folded. Dan Makowsky folding the {A-Hearts} face up in the big blind.

Yeh: {A-Clubs} {K-Spades}
D'Auteuil: {9-Clubs} {9-Spades}
Fox: {J-Clubs} {J-Spades}
Button: {Q-Hearts} {Q-Spades}

The board came {2-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {10-Hearts} (At which point Makowsky says, "Aaaahh, I folded the nuts, I had {A-Hearts} {7-Hearts}..." before a river {K-Diamonds}.

Yeh clapped his hands and nearly quadrupled up as he eliminated D'Auteuil while Fox lost the small sidepot to the button and also was knocked out.

Lennard Back to Winning Ways

It was folded around to Jim McManus in the cutoff who shipped his last 70,500 in and was looked up by Ken Lennard in the SB with {A-Diamonds} {9-Spades}. McManus was holding {2-Diamonds} {2-Hearts} and the board came {A-Clubs} {7-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {K-Hearts}.

McManus is out, Lennard is now on the up again at 230,000.

Chang Out, Sorensen Doubles Up

Ed Chang raised to 35,000 and Dan Makowsky made the call from the small blind. The flop was {Q-Clubs} {K-Spades} {8-Clubs} and Makowsky checked before instantly calling Chang's all-in move with {8-Hearts} {8-Spades}, Chang showed {5-?} {5-?} and couldn't not hit one five, let alone two on the {K-Diamonds} turn and {2-Spades} river.

Soon after Jan Sorensen raised 35,000 (half his stack) from the cutoff and Makowsky called on the button while Chang called all in for his last 12,000.

Sorensen moved all in for his other 35,000 with {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} on the {J-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {9-Clubs} flop and Makowsky called with {8-Clubs} {8-Spades} but a {Q-Hearts} on the turn and avoidance of an eight or ten on the {4-Spades} river, doubled Sorensen up and eliminated Chang.

Roberts Jr Doubles To The Delight Of Roberts Sr

Another double up for Jamie Roberts, Shan Jing had raised preflop to 21,000 and Roberts reraised all in for just over 100,000 in the small blind. The big blind also moved all in and Jing folded leaving us with a heads-up race as Roberts showed {A-Spades} {K-Diamonds} against the big blind's {J-Clubs} {J-Diamonds}.

The board came {6-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {A-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} and a delighted Ben Roberts behind the table celebrated with a fist pump as his son moved up to 220,000.

No More Wishes For Gene

An all-in preflop encounter between Gene Cangiani and Dave Yingling saw the former eliminated but the dealer tried to send the chips to him.

Cangiani -- {Q-?} {J-?}
Yingling -- {A-?} {A-?}

The board came {Q-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {J-Spades} {5-Clubs} {2-Clubs} to see Yingling's higher two pair win. The dealer failed to spot the counterfeit five on the turn. Yingling on 165,000 now.
