Vance Eliminated

Vance sent packing
Vance sent packing
Matt Vance opened to 15,00 from under the gun and with the action on Jordan Rich next, he made it 45,000 to go.

It passed round back to Vance and he pushed all in. After a few minutes in the tank, Rich made the call.

Vance: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Rich: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} to see Vance exit as Rich climbs to 280,000 in chips.

Cole Hits Half a Million

Jeffrey Chotikul shoved his last 20,000 in from late position and Corwin Cole called from the big blind.

Chotikul: {Q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}
Cole: {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Chotikul hit a pair and Cole a flush draw on a flop of {9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. Cole completed his hand with the {J-Clubs} on the turn a meaningless {4-Hearts} on the river ended Chotikul's day.

The hand lifted Cole's stack to 500,000.

Damian Salas Gets Rivered

Damian Salas
Damian Salas
Damian Salas moved all in from the big blind and got called by Jim McGowan.

Salas held {A-Spades}{7-Spades} and took the lead from McGowan's pocket sixes on a flop of {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}. He stayed in control with the {9-Clubs} on the turn, but couldn't fade the two-outer when McGowan spiked the {6-Hearts} on the river.

McGowan now has 172,000.

Blind on Blind Violence Does in Jason Gray

Jason Gray
Jason Gray
Action folded to Jason Gray who raised to 15,000 from the small blind. Almira Scripenco re-raised to 45,000 from the big blind, and Gray shoved.

Scripenco called and showed {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades} while Gray held {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}. A board of {J-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{K-Hearts} provided no help, and Gray was eliminated.

Scripenco now has 322,000.

Woodall Wins a Monster

Warren Woodall took the chip lead just before the break.

Adam Lippert raised to 11,500 from the cutoff and Woodall called out of the small blind before checking a flop of {10-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

When Lippert bet 22,000, Woodall raised to 62,000, and Lippert came over the top. Woodall snap called and showed {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} for top set while Lippert showed {Q-Spades}{K-Diamonds}. Woodall held on as the board finished {A-Spades}{4-Hearts} and he now has a stack of 580,000.
