Romanello Eliminated Before Break

In a hand right before the dinner break, Andrew White raised to 7,000 from the button and Roberto Romanello reraised to 25,000 from the small blind.

White three-bet to 41,500 and Romanello pushed for 181,500. White made the call for an additional 140,000 and showed {A-Spades}{Q-Hearts}, which was far ahead of Romanello's {J-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}.

A flop of {8-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} cemented White's lead, and Romanello was done when the board finished {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}.

Scott Andrews Doubles Up

Scott Andrews shipped his last 35,000 from under the gun and got called by Adam Lippert.

Lippert held {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and was ahead of Andrews' {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs} until a flop of {K-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. When Lippert couldn't find help on the river with the {7-Hearts} or {4-Diamonds}, Andrews doubled to 70,000 while Lippert fell to 140,000.

Danny Anton Goes Bust

In more preflop action, Roberto Romanello raised to 6,500 from the cutoff and Danny Anton pushed all in for 33,800 from the button. Romanello called and the hands were shown.

Romanello: {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Anton: {A-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

A flop of {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{J-Clubs} left Anton drawing thin as the {7-Diamonds} and {3-Spades} hit the felt. Romanello now has 210,000.

Todd Crippled Then Eliminated

Eugene Todd in action

We caught the action when the board had been run and the pot was being pushed.

Eugene Todd and his {6-?}{5-?} was all-in on the turn with the board reading {10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} against an opponent's {A-Spades}{J-Spades}.

The river would see the {8-Spades} fall to see Todd's once winning straight sent to the muck as he was left with only 10,000 in chips.

A few hands later Todd would push holding {k-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and be called by an opponent holding {A-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. The board would fall jack-high and Todd would hit the rail.

Jason Gray Doubles Up

Jason Gray
When the hijack raised to 7,000, Jason Gray reraised to 20,000. The hijack shoved for 22,000 more and Gray snap called, showing {K-Hearts}{K-Spades} which put well in front of his opponent's {9-?}{9-?}.

Gray's hand held on a board of {8-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} and he now has 165,000.
