Rheem Rivers Paris

Broadway baby!
Broadway baby!
David 'Chino' Rheem opened from middle position to 4,600, and with it folding round to Bryan Paris in the small blind he bumped it to 12,300 total.

Rheem made the call and both players checked it down to the river with the board reading {4-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{A-Spades}{6-Clubs}{J-Clubs}.

Paris led out for 17,000 to put Rheem to a decision, and after checking and re-checking his cards Rheem pushed in the chips to call while announcing all in.

Paris thought that Rheem had announced call and tabled his {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}, however once informed by the table and dealer of the scenario, he turned his cards back over and was put to a decision for a further 35,200.

Rheem stood up and started pacing round the table, "he's got me beat, but he can't call, he can't call".

A further minute went by before Paris eventually made the call, only see Rheem roll over his {K-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for the nuts and the double through to 131,000 and change.
