Man Down
Don't Forget about Miranda!
Faces in Red
And everyone's favorite perenially cashing Russian, Nikolay Evdakov, is on 104. Evdakov has a bit of work to do if he hopes to cash today. He's already down to about 1,300 chips after calling 1,500 on the river from an opponent who showed down a ten-high straight -- which also happened to be the nuts.
Stout Splashing Around
With a player limping in under the gun, Stout put in a raise to 225. The betting folded around to the limper who made the call, and the flop brought out . The limper led out into the pot with a small bet of 200. Stout quickly slipped in a raise to 700. Without hesistation, his opponent announced, "Reraise," and flicked an extra 500 chips back into the middle to make it 1,200 total.
Stout pulled his earphone out of his right ear, re-checked his cards, shot a quick glance across the felt, and slid his cards back to the muck. He's dropped to 3,575 here in the early going.
A Few Notables to Start the Day
