Cantu Still Moving Up

Chairud Vangchailued limped in from middle position, and Brandon Cantu followed suit on down the line. Alex Jacob completed from the small blind, and Ray Foley tapped the table for a free flop from the big.

With four-way action, the flop came out {J-Spades} {7-Clubs} {9-Diamonds}. The action passed around to the button where Brandon Cantu put out a bet of 150,000. The blinds folded, but Vangchailued came along. The turn was the {8-Diamonds}, and both men checked. The river came the {K-Diamonds}, and Vangchailued checked again. Cantu figured he was good for a bet, and he fired 200,000 more at the pot. His opponent called, and Cantu tabled {J-Hearts} {8-Hearts}.

His two pair was plenty good to win him the pot.
