Jonathan Markham Eliminated in 6th Place ($114,514)

Jonathan Markham - 6th Place
Jonathan Markham - 6th Place
Under the gun, Jonathan Markham put in a raise to 210,000. The bet came all the way around the table to his immediate right where Wei Mu was in the big blind. He thought for a good while, counted out the chips in one hand, and slowly dropped them into the pot.

The flop brought {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {J-Spades}. Mu checked, and Markham continued out with a bet of 265,000. Mu then moved all in, and Markham quickly called.

Showdown
Markham: {K-Clubs} {K-Diamonds}
Mu: {Q-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}

"Oh, cooler!" said someone on the rail. Indeed, it was a sick flop for both players. Middle set was way behind the flopped straight of Mu. Needing to pair the board, Markham saw a blank {6-Spades} hit the turn. Still looking for that pair, the river brought no help with the {3-Spades}.

Despite flopping a set of kings, Jonathan Markham had the worst hand. He's been sent to the exit in 6th place, good for nearly $115,000.
