Doyle Brunson was all in on fifth street against two opponents. He turned up in the hole on the end for a 7-5-3-2-A low, good to triple his stack to 8,500.
Facing a completion on third street, Mike Baxter raised it up and got a call. Baxter took the lead on fourth street and bet. His opponent called, and both players checked fifth street. Baxter called another bet on sixth street, then bet the river when his opponent checked.
Baxter got a call and turned over in the hole for a wheel. He raked in the pot, his stack now up to 19,100.
The last member of our crew standing in this event is Mickey Doft, who is currently playing at one of the rooms toughest tables, stacked with Daniel Negreanu, Bill Chen, Thomas Bihl, and Joe Tehan (pretty sure that's 7 WSOP bracelets and 3 WPT titles right there). Though he was running low on chips in the last level, he has now chipped up to a comfortable 17,000.
We picked this one up on fourth street with Ville Wahlbeck leading out and Eskimo Clark making the call. Wahlbeck bet out again on fifth street and Clark called and on sixth, Wahlbeck bet and Clark called all in.
Wahlbeck showed 9-6-5-3-2, while Eskimo mucked disgustedly and headed to the rail.
