A Few Chips Added to the Old Bloch

With three players and 1,500 in chips in the pot by the {2-Spades} {A-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} flop, it checked around to Andy Bloch on the button who bet. Both checkers called.

Come the {3-Spades} turn another player bet out and a second player called; Bloch raised it and the original bettor called, while the other player folded.

Some further action occurred on the {J-Spades} river (alas the exact nature of it is lost in the mists of time), and when the cards were flipped, Bloch raked in three quarters -- both players had made the wheel, but Bloch had managed to runner-runner a flush to go with it.

Bloch: {5-Spades} {A-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {A-Clubs}
Mr. Opponent: {5-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}

How Many Runners Are There Again?

For some reason the board is now claiming a total of 424 runners rather than the 425 previously advertised. Not sure who died, combusted etc, but we're assured the payout is correct, and we currently have 378 runners remaining.

Minieri Recovers, Loses Again

Dario Minieri made a bit of a recovery after finding himself down to just 375 chips earlier, but things are still not going well for the tiny Italian and he's sitting on just 1,500 right now.

With three players in the hand on the {8-Clubs} {K-Spades} {10-Hearts} flop, it checked around to Minieri on the cutoff, who bet. Back to Frankie O'Dell, who check-raised. The third player got out of the way, and Minieri called.

O'Dell bet out on both the {A-Hearts} turn and {7-Clubs} river and both times Minieri called -- but Minieri just mucked when O'Dell turned over {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} and is back down to a very tiny stack.

Good River for Madsen

A unfortunate gentleman found himself all in preflop and up against Jeff Madsen.

Mr. All In: {9-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {2-Spades}
Madsen: {3-Spades} {10-Spades} {A-Clubs} {A-Spades}

Board: {K-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {2-Clubs}

"Not a good river for you," mused Madsen as the absolute worst happened for the short stack -- he was three-quartered and is now exactly twice as short as before, though still in.

Not a Shorr Thing

Shannon Shorr dips to 11,500 after betting out on the turn of a {6-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} board and got himself called by another player further down the table. Both players checked the {J-Diamonds} river and Mr. Caller turned over {2-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} to take the pot; Shorr flashed him the {A-Diamonds} and mucked.

Movin' Up

- Perry Friedman: up to 22,000

- Dario Minieri: up to, er, 2,500 from his previous 1,500

- Paul Parker: up to, umm, 3,000. He was down to 2,100 before getting involved in a four-way pot that turned to a three-way pot on the flop. Parker bet from the button on the flop and then three-bet to a raise; he called all in for his last 150 on the turn and minimal action between the other two players resulted in a three-way showdown with Parker taking half of it.

Board: {6-Spades} {4-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {A-Diamonds}

Parker: {2-Clubs} {3-Spades} {K-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} for the low
Mr. Big Blind: {3-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} for the high
Mr. Under The Gun: {10-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {6-Diamonds} {2-Spades} for absolutely nothing
