Just prior to the break, Scotty Nguyen and Vitaly Lunkin chopped a big pot as John Monnette was left stuck in the middle.

Jon 'PearlJammer' Turner battled on valiantly with his short stack during the Stud-8 round. He chipped up by picking up half with just a pair of sixes for the high in a multi-way pot but eventually succumbed against Scott Clements.

Jon 'PearlJammer' Turner has been crippled after being forced out of a Stud hand against Thor Hansen.
