Correction

Earlier we erroneously reported that Jason Helder was eliminated in 30th place.

30th place actually went to Allan Lebiszczak. Jason Helder is alive and well in this tournament and currently has 1,800,000.

We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

Eric Lupovich Crippled; Eliminated Shortly After in 18th Place ($27,939)

Jesper Mertz moves all in from middle position and is called by Eric Lupovich in late position. All others fold.

Mertz: {J-Spades} {10-Spades}
Lupovich: {A-Clubs} {K-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Spades} {9-Spades} {8-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} giving Mertz a rivered straight and the pot. He doubles up to 650,000 while Lupovich is left on the short stack with only 40,000

Shortly after, Lupovich is all in with ace-king again against the {10-Clubs} {5-Hearts} of Georgios Kapalas. Kapalas hit a ten on the turn to eliminate Lupovich from the tournament in 18th place.
