Jacks on the Bubble

We actually lost three players on the last hand before the money.

Chris Cooke was one of those unfortunate bubble boys. Jeffrey Vanchiro opened with a raise from the button, and Cooke was in the unenviable position of looking down at {J-Clubs} {J-Hearts} from the small blind. He moved all in for about 21,000, and Vanchiro called him down with {A-Clubs} {9-Diamonds}.

The first four cards were safe, but the {A-Spades} on the river was all she wrote for Cooke.

Those three players including Cooke were the final three non-cash finishers.
