Chip Leader Still Chipping Up

A player in middle position raised to 10,000 to start things off, and chip leader Jason Helder made the call on the button. When it came to the big blind, the player seated there reraised to 28,000. The initial raiser called, but now it was Helder who wanted to play for more. He moved all in having both players covered by a mile. The big blind called all in, while the original raiser got the message and ducked out.

Showdown
Helder: {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs}
Big blind: {9-Spades} {9-Diamonds}

The flop was all kinds of trouble for the at-risk player as it came out {J-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds} to give Helder's two pair the lead. The {7-Diamonds} that turned was a good card for the big blind, adding a flush draw to his outs. The river {Q-Spades} was the wrong color though, and his day is done.

Helder is on a tear: 640,000.
