Dumb Play by Christensen?

After check-raising on the flop Jon Christensen open-shoved on the turn with the board reading {J-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{J-Spades}.

David Woo sat in the tank for near on six minutes before laying his hand down.

Once he finally mucked he commented, "Man, I just don't think you'd make the same dumb play again, or I would've called."

"You can't call the player dumb," sparked the dealer.

"Oh, no I was saying the play he made was dumb," commented Woo as he slipped to 360 while Christensen climbed back to 340,000 in chips.

Palmer Sent Packing

With the action folding round to Ben Palmer on the button, he open-shipped all in and was insta-called by Zsombor Gall from the big blind.

Palmer: {J-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Gall: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and Palmer hit the rail as Gall soared to 410,000 in chips.

Gomes Gone

Vivek Rajkumar is continuing his strong showing in Event 54 by recently knocking out Alexandre Gomes from the tournament.

Rajkumar's {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} was in great shape against Gomes' {A-Spades}{10-Spades}, and when the final board read {7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{8-Spades}, Gomes hit the rail as Rajkumar climbed to just over 260,000 in chips.

Down and Out with Joe Morneau

When an opponent made a standard opening raise, Joe Morneau moved over the top from the cutoff. He got called.

Morneau: {6-?}{8-?}
Opponent: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

When the board ran {10-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, Morneau found himself with just 28,000. On the next hand, he open shoved from the button with 2-3 off suit and got called by the big blind, who held ace-queen. Again, Morneau failed to improve, and he headed to the rail.

Keating KO'D

Alex Keating has been sent to the rail after reraising an early position raiser all in for his last 35,000.

Josh Norris woke up with {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} and made the call to take the hand heads up.

Keating's {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts} was unable to catch up on the {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} board. Keating hit the rail while Norris climbed to 275,000 in chips.

Double-En

Arkadiy Tsinsis led out on a board of {2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Richard En moved all in for an additional 44,000. Tsinsis made the call and showed {Q-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for a pair and a flush draw vs. En's wheel with {A-Spades}{4-Clubs}

The river brought no help for Tsinsis with the {3-Diamonds} and En doubled to 125,000 while Tsinsis fell to 210,000.
