David Villegas Eliminated in 7th Place ($9,029)

David Villegas
David Villegas

Hand #70

David Villegas had been relatively quiet throughout tonight’s final table and now he’s hit the rail.

Villegas got it all in with Chris Reider before the flop and the hands were tabled:

Villegas: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Reider: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The board ran {3-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and Villegas was sent packing with $9,029.

Hand #78 – Matt Hollinger

Arthur Vea completed the small blind and Matt Hollinger checked his option in the big blind.

The two checked the {J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and Vea check-called a 20,000 chip bet on the turn after the {10-Clubs} fell. Vea led for 45,000 after the {8-Diamonds} came on the river and Hollinger made the call.

Vea opened {K-}{8-} for a rivered pair of eights but Hollinger tabled {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for the winning flush.
