Lucier Gives Some Up to Miller

Dan Miller limped into the pot from second position. The small blind called and Cary Lucier bumped it up to 2,100. Miller called and the small blind folded.

The flop was a draw-heavy {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Lucier checked, and Miller bet 1,500. Lucier called the bet and they were headed to the turn.

The turn was the {4-Clubs}. Once again, Lucier check-called, this time for 4,000.

The river was the {7-Spades}. Lucier checked the river and Miller announced he was all in for his remaining 3,825 chips. Lucier called and mucked when he saw Miller had flopped a straight with {8-}{q-}.
