Levi Short Stacked

In a recent hand, action folded to David Levi in the small blind who limped. The big blind checked and the two saw a flop of {8-Spades}{A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

Both players checked, and continued to do so when the {3-Clubs} came on the turn and the {Q-Clubs} on the river. Levi turned over {K-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and it was good enough to win. He still needs to get something going though, he still has less than 10,000 chips remaining.

Ramdin Gets Some Run Good

Victor Ramdin went all in preflop for 5,900 and got a call. He was looking good when the cards were turned up.

Ramdin: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Opponent: {6-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The flop was brutal for Ramdin, coming {9-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, giving his opponent a pair and a flush draw. However when the {j-Diamonds} fell on the turn, Ramdin pulled ahead and stayed there with the {k-Diamonds} on the river.

Boeree Not Good Enough

Liv Boeree
Liv Boeree

Liv Boeree was under the gun and raised to 2,800. The player on the button called and the two saw a flop of {J-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

Boeree checked and the button took the opportunity to bet 3,400. Boeree called then checked the {10-Diamonds} on the turn. The button checked as well and the {7-Clubs} hit the river.

This time Boeree led out and bet 5,500. The button called and showed {J-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} for top two pair. Boeree held the {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}, but it wasn't good enough. She is now down to 16,500.

From Robusto to Busto

Phil Gordon called an opponent's all-in bet on a board reading {q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

Gordon: {j-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Gordon had some fading to do, but couldn't get through when {4-Clubs} came on the turn. The {a-Spades} on the river didn't change a thing, and Gordon was down to 8,000.

Gordon busted a few hands later.
