Ferguson Survives Then Falls

Chris Ferguson not so happy anymore
Chris Ferguson not so happy anymore

Chris Ferguson had his last 150 all in on the big blind with Michael Binger and Gavin Griffin giving him action along with a side pot after both players committed 2,800 in chips.

Ferguson stood pat as the other two each drew one with Griffin firing out 3,300 to win the side pot.

Ferguson tabled his {9-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-} to more then triple up to 900.

Unfortunately for Ferguson, Griffin would end his tournament when his pat {J-}{9-}{7-}{5-}{4-} remained ahead of Ferguson's {9-}{6-}{4-}{2-} after he drew a {K-}.

"I'm just trying to make the table easier. Busting Ivey and Ferguson." stated Griffin.

"Are you absorbing their powers?" added Griffin's buddy Terrence Chan as Griffin began raking the pot to take him to 15,500 in chips.
