Following a raise and re-raise preflop, Jerry Yang and Darren Wong took a flop of .
Yang checked and Wong bet 1,525. Yang then check-raised to 4,000 before Wong moved all in. Yang insta-called and the cards were tabled:

The turn and river bricked out and Yang loses a chunk of change as Wong doubles to 23,500. Yang is suddenly back down to 17,500.

After a preflop raising war, Antonio Esfandiari ended up all in with pocket queens. Bad luck for "The Magician," his opponent tabled pocket aces and without help from the board, Esfandiari is out of the tournament.

When we arrived at the table to see Chris Ferguson and another player on their way to the rail. We're not sure about the action but "Jesus" is out.
A young man by the name of Kevin Boudreau just approached our desk to let us know he was sitting with a mammoth 57,000 chips. He was also happy to learn that puts him into the chip lead.
Boudreau also let us know that he's had two cashes already this series and is well on the way to making it number three, so we'll be keeping a close eye on his progress!
The official number of starters for this event is 1,663 which is up significantly on the 1,459 players who entered this equivalent event last year.
At the moment there are approximately 540 players remaining, with the top 162 set to collect $2,829, while our champion will take home the coveted gold bracelet and a tick over $482,000 in prize money!
