Doubling Through Deeb

A player under the gun opened for 2,000 (2.5x), and the table folded around to Shaun Deeb who called from the button. The player in the small blind then bumped it up to 6,100. The original raiser got out, but Deeb stuck around.

The flop came {Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}. The small blind led for 6,700, Deeb shoved all in, and his opponent called for his last 21,900. Deeb showed {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, while his opponent tabled {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}.

The turn was the {8-Clubs} and river the {7-Spades}, and Deeb had doubled up his opponent. After flirting with the 100,000-chip mark a little earlier, Deeb now sits with about 40,000.
