Boeken Bounced, Lawson Leaps Up

Noah Boeken's up-and-down day has finally come to an end. Just now he was up against Ted Lawson in a hand in which the pair saw a {2-Spades}{J-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop. Boeken led for 11,000, Lawson raised all in, and Boeken called with the rest of his stack -- about 20,000 more.

Lawson showed {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs} for top pair, top kicker, while Boeken turned over {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} for the open-ended straight draw. The turn was the {10-Diamonds} and the river the {8-Spades}, and Boeken is out. Meanwhile, Lawson moves up to 85,000.
