Joshua Macciello Eliminated in 18th Place ($31,305)

Joshua Macciello - 18th place
Joshua Macciello - 18th place

Joshua Macciello opened for 50,000 from the cutoff position before James Carroll announced he was all in from the button. The blinds quickly folded and Macciello thought for a few moments. He had roughly 300,000 behind and he decided to commit them to the pot.

Carroll: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}
Macciello: {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}

Macciello would need some help and he got it on the {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop as he spiked two pair. However the crowd let out a collective "oooooh" as the {Q-Hearts} hit the turn to give Carroll a set of queens. The river bricked the {6-Spades} and Macciello becomes our first elimination of the day in 18th place for a collect of $31,305.
