Williams Gives a Few Back; Makhija Benefits

Amit Makhija open-shoved for his last 545,000, called quickly by big blind Jeff Williams. The news was good for the at-risk Makhija, as he turned up the dominating {A-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} to his opponent's {A-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds}.

There was a bit of a sweat by the time the turn rolled around, but the board ran out clean: {4-Spades} {8-Clubs} {7-Spades} {2-Hearts} {10-Spades}.

That's a good find for Makhija, earning a much-needed double up to about 1.1 million. Don't worry about Williams; he still has well over a third of the chips in play with 4.5 million.
