How About A Triple Up?

It wasn't long after the break when Peter Gilmore raised to 140,000 and Amit Makhija moved all in for 345,000. Jeff Williams called in the big blind as did Gilmore.

The two live players checked down a board of {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades} in an attempt to eliminate the short stack. It didn't work as Makhija showed down the best hand with {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Gilmore showed {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Williams had {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}.

Makhija triples up to around 1.2 million chips!
