Slowly But Surely

Jason DeWitt opened to 285,000 from the button before Sam Trickett popped it up to 835,000 from the big blind. DeWitt made the call and they saw a flop of {3-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

Trickett was first to act after the flop and he came out with a bet of 300,000 into the pot worth 1.7 million. DeWitt made the call.

The turn brought the {10-Clubs} and Trickett checked it over to DeWitt who slid 900,000 into the middle. Again this hand was another long one as both players considered all their options on every move. Trickett eventually folded and DeWitt is now out to a healthy lead.

DeWitt - 8.4 million
Trickett - 3.48 million
