Alexander Kostritsyn opened for 13,000 from early position and Jeff Lisandro moved all-in for his last 31,500 from the big blind. Kostritsyn made the call, turning over while Lisandro showed pocket nines. Lisandro won the race, the board running out to double him up to around 70,000. Kostristyn still has one of the larger stacks in the room with 655,000.
Jeff Lisandro opened for 17,000 from middle position, Scott Seiver flat-called from the hijack seat and Chris Ferguson moved all-in for 42,000 from the big blind. Both Lisandro and Seiver called, and they checked down the board.
Ferguson turned up pocket jacks for a set and tripled his stack to 135,000. Lisandro was left with 55,000 and Seiver has 770,000.
We're fans of the PLO round here, as it's when the most chips tend to change hands. These players didn't even have to play past the flop to make that happen in this hand.
Eli Elezra, Steve Zolotow, and Kirk Morrison all limped in. Michael Mizrachi made it 25,000 to go from the small blind, and all three opponents called. The flop came down a rather dry , and Mizrachi led out for 75,000. Elezra and Zolotow both folded, but Morrison put out a raise to 225,000. Mizrachi gave up his hand and Morrison took down the pot, his stack climbing up to 790,000. Mizrachi is down to 400,000.
Another short-stacker fighting hard to stay alive is Justin Smith, who recently doubled up in a hand of Limit Hold'em.
Smith raised preflop from under the gun with Hasan Habib making the call out of the big blind.
They saw a flop of and Habib led out with a bet with Smith calling off the last of his chips.

It was the old queen-high versus queen-high clash, with queen-high winning when the turn and river completed the board. Smith's jack kicker played and he doubled to 55,000 to find a pulse once again in this tournament.
He fought the good fight but in the end, he was a bit short on ammo.
Jeff Lisandro committed the last of his chips to the pot before the first draw and Chris Ferguson made the call. Both players drew one card apiece on the first draw. Ferguson rapped pat on the second and third draws while Lisandro took one each time.
Ferguson turned over 8-6-5-4-2 and Lisandro hit the rail.
Michael Mizrachi raised it up from the button before David Singer re-raised in the small blind. Mizrachi made the call and took two on the first draw, after Singer took one.
A bet followed from Singer and a call from Mizrachi, and the same cards were drawn by both players; one for Singer and two for Mizrachi.
Again Singer led the betting and Mizrachi called. Singer stood pat this time with Mizrachi taking one, before both players checked it down.
Singer revealed a 9-6-5 which was enough to collect the pot.
Catching the action on fourth street, Scott Clements fired a bet into Erik Seidel who made the call, before leading the betting action on fifth and sixth streets. On seventh, Seidel checked, Clements bet and Seidel looked him up.

A handy river for Clements gave him an eighty-six low which was the best hand as Seidel's cards hit the muck.
Joe Serock completed the betting with the and Erik Seidel came along showing the . Seidel led the betting on all streets, with Serock calling along until the river where he put in a raise. Seidel made the call but mucked when Serock showed him the bad news.

Seidel is sliding in the recent Stud rounds as he is back down to 220,000, while Serock's full house now sees him sit with 410,000.
