Late Arrival and Table Talk

Even with a $50,000 buy-in and a 3pm restart, players still sometimes show up late. 110 players returned for Day 2. 109 of them were on time for the start. The only one who was late was Joe Cassidy, who turned up about 20 minutes into the level.

At a different table, Doyle Brunson assured the table after a hand of triple draw that hand winner Chau Giang had at least a 10. "Doyle knows how I play," said Chau. "We're neighbors. He's played with me for 30 years."

Scott Seiver, ever the comedian, responded, "Yeah, well I've played with these guys [at his end of the table] for 30 weeks. I've got a good read."
