Boyd Picking Up More Chips

Dutch Boyd raised, and Brian Meinders made the call. The flop came {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}, Meinders check-raised Boyd, who made the call. The turn was the {2-Clubs}, and this time Meinders led out, and got raised by Boyd. Meinders made the call, and the {5-Clubs} got a check-call from Meinders after Boyd led out.

Boyd showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}, which was good enough to take pot.

Boyd Pays it Off

Brian Meinders raised from the button, and Dutch Boyd made it three bets to go.

The two men saw the dealer flop {K-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}, and Meinders called a Boyd bet. On the {J-Clubs} turn, Boyd fired again before Meinders raised it back at him. Boyd called the extra bet, and he check-called one final bet on the {J-Diamonds} river.

Meinders turned up {K-Spades} {9-Hearts} for the winning two pair.

Evening the Score

Brian Meinders open-raised from the button, and Dutch Boyd three-bet from the big blind.

The flop came {7-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {4-Clubs}, and Boyd led out with a bet. Meinders raised, Boyd reraised, and Meinders called.

The turn came the {Q-Hearts}, and Meinders called a full bet before both players checked the {10-Spades} river. Boyd showed first, turning up {A-Diamonds} {4-Diamonds}, and it was the best hand.

Boyd has now drawn virtually even with his opponent after starting heads-up play at a significant disadvantage.

Flopping Good?

The two players saw a {4-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop, and Boyd check-called a bet from Meinders. The {8-Hearts} on the turn hit the river, and Boyd this time tried a check-raise. Meinders called, and then bet out when the {6-Hearts} hit on the river. Boyd made the call, and saw the bad news when Meinders showed him a flopped straight with {6-Spades}{3-Spades}

Here Comes Dutch

Dutch Boyd raised, and Brian Meinders reraised from the big blind. Boyd called, and they took a flop of {9-Diamonds} {8-Spades} {7-Diamonds}. Meinders bet, and Boyd raised, each men putting in two bets to see the {2-Hearts} turn. Meinders check-called a bet there and another one on the {5-Diamonds} river to see the showdown.

Boyd tabled {Q-Diamonds} {9-Spades}, and his top pair was the best hand. That's another one to Boyd.
