Boeken Crippled, Then Doubles

On a flop of {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} Noah Boeken checked to Steve Chanthabouasy who fired out 1,200. Boeken check-raised to 2,400 and Chanthabouasy quickly three-bet to 3,600 with Boeken smooth-calling.

Boeken check-called a 2,400-chip bet from Chanthabouasy when the {K-Clubs} landed before check-raising to 4,800 over Chanthabouasy's 2,400-chip bet when the river fell the {10-Clubs}.

Tabling his {A-Hearts}{3-Spades}, Boeken would launch from his chair in disgust at the sight of Chanthabouasy's {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} as the Dutchman slipped to just 5,000 as Chanthabouasy climbed to 108,000 in chips.

The following hand however, Boeken would manage to find a double through David Baker.

Boeken held {A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} to Baker's {Q-Spades}{8-Clubs} with the board running out {K-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades} to see Boeken find a double back to over 11,000 in chips.
