Boyd Doesn't Meinders a Bit

Brian Meinders opened under the gun, and Dutch Boyd put in three bets right next door. The two men went heads up to a flop of {6-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {5-Diamonds}, and Meinders tapped the table. When Boyd bet, he check-raised, and Boyd matched the extra bet.

The turn came the {7-Clubs}, and Boyd called a bet before the {3-Clubs} filled out the board. Meinders checked again, and Boyd figured a bet was in order. Meinders called, and Boyd said, "Tens," turning up {Td {10-Spades}.

"Tens are good," Meinders lamented as he slung his cards into the muck.
