Unimproved Aces No Good for Landrum

It looked like each player put three bets in the pot pre-flop in a hand between Lyle Berman and Sabyl Landrum. Landrum was out of position. She check-called one bet on a flop of {q-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {j-Diamonds} and another when the turn blanked {2-Hearts}. The river, however, was the complete opposite of a blank. The {k-Diamonds} filled all kinds of draws. Landrum and Berman both checked. Berman took down the pot with a king-high straight, {k-Spades} {j-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {3-Hearts}. Landrum flashed two aces and mucked.
