Farha Ready to Gamble

Sammy Farha
Sammy Farha

Sam Farha's in a great mood. He has 375,000 and is joking around with his table.

"I'm playing so bad," he said. "I'm going to play any four cards and if I hit a pair you can't get me out."

Farha played the next hand along with michael Chow and John D'Agostino. On a flop of {k-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {6-Clubs}, Farha checked to Chow. His bet was called in turn by D'Agostino and Farha.

The {j-Spades} hit the turn. Farha and Chow both checked to D'Agostino, then called his bet. All three players checked the {5-Spades} river. Chow won the low with {a-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {6-Spades} {8-Spades}; Farha, true to his word, won the high with {k-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {2-Clubs}, two pair, kings and fives.

"Don't write that hand down," Farha told our reporter.
