Caramatti Goes Fishing

There was 5,000 in the middle and the board read {7-Hearts}{q-Spades}{3-Diamonds} when both Luigi Caramatti and Darryll "DFish" Fish checked their action.

The turn brought the {K-Diamonds} and Fish led for 6,700. Caramatti called.

The river was the {8-Diamonds} and again Fish led - this time for 5,000. Carmatti again called.

Fish rolled over {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for just ace high and Caramatti showed {K-Hearts}{J-Spades} for a winning pair of kings.

Fish slipped to 60,000 chips and Caramatti is up to 350,000.

Mathews Takes One From Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu made it 3,600 and was called by Sara Schussler from the small blind and Harvey Mathews in the big blind.

The flop came down {2-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Both players in the blinds checked and Negreanu bet 5,600. Schussler folded and Mathews made bumped it up to 12,600 and Negreanu made the call.

The turn brought the {5-Hearts} and both players checked to the river, which was the {q-Hearts}. The two checked again and Mathews took the pot with {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}.

Mathews sits with 102,000 while Negreanu drops to 28,400.
