Preflop Action

With the blinds and antes raising, there is more and more preflop action occurring.

In one hand Harvey Mathews opened to 7,000 and Daniel Negreanu three-bet to 22,000 on the button. Mathews four-bet jammed and Negreanu was forced to fold.

At an adjacent table, Taurean Davis opened to 7,500 from under the gun and Jerry Yang called from the cutoff. Benjamin Maerefat three-bet to 23,000 from the big blind and then Davis four-bet to 57,500. Both Yang and Maerefat folded and Davis took down the pot chipping up to 235,000.
