Little to Nothing

Jon Little, already an extremely short stack, found himself crippled to just 3,000 after doubling up an even shorter tablemate.

Little: {a-Spades}{2-Spades}
All-in shortie: {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Board: a pretty decisive {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

Little's last 3,000 chips went in with a speculative {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} on the button the very next hand, but smacked right into {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} in the blinds.

There was an initial glimmer of hope for Little on the {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades} flop, but the turn and river ran out {3-Hearts} and {j-Diamonds} to send him to the rail.

Morgan is NotSoLucky

Jordan "iMsoLucky0" Morgan took a small hit to his stack moments ago.

Morgan opened for a little over 4,000 chips and a very short stack behind him called all in. Morgan's {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} was ahead of the player's {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}, but the board ran {K-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and the player successfully doubled.

When pushing the put to the player the dealer forgot grab the yellow T1,000 chips laying right in front of Morgan. Finally, after another play at the table pointed this error out, the chips were pushed to the winner.

"I should've grabbed it real quick," Morgan joked.

It's OK, Morgan won't miss those couple of chips seeing that he is still sitting with about 106,000 of them in front of him.

Short-Stacked Sebok Busts in Biggest Hand of the Tournament So Far; Crawford New Chip Leader

Joe Sebok
Joe Sebok

After spending some time open-shoving his short stack to little avail, Joe Sebok tried it again for his last 8,000 with {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} in the cutoff. However, his heart must have sunk somewhat when the gentleman on the button made it 20,000 to go - only for Drew Crawford to push from the big blind. The button raiser snap-called for his whole 70,000 stack, and they were on their backs, 150,000 in the pot.

Sebok: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} as aforementioned
Button: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Crawford: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Board: bink! {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}

Sebok and the unfortunate gent with the kings were left to make the long sad trudge to the payout desk. Crawford meanwhile is our new chip daddy on 220,000.

Visitors

After folding in the small blind, Thayer Rasmussen was visited by his friends Andrew Teng and Carter King. Their presence was not welcomed however when a player faced with a decision turned and snapped at them.

"Can you go away or something?!?!?!"

Across the room Tom "durrrr" Dawn stopped in to see Jonathan Aguiar. This conversation ensued:

Aguiar: Still in the $1,500?
Dwan: Nope, I'm out.

Git-R-Done

Our friend, and self-pronounced proud redneck, Timothy "TJ" Boytor just busted a short-stacked player at his table.

The player at risk held {K-}{K-}, but Boytor had him crushed with {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}. The board ran {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Boytor collected his victim's chips to push his stack to 73,000 chips.

Rasmussen Doubles, Staudenmaier Eliminated, Teng Gets to Eat

We arrived tableside to witness Thayer Rasmussen all in with {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} against Dan Lu's {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}.

Board: {q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{a-Clubs}

"NO!" cried Andrew Teng, who was railing as Rasmussen doubled to 39,000. We naturally assumed from his horror at the river card that he was railing Lu, but we were wrong. "We would have gone and got food if that didn't happen," lamented Teng. He pointed out Luke "IWEARGOGGLES" Staudenmaier, also a short stack at the same table. "I'm sweating him to bust now. I've got one more shot."

And indeed Teng got his rather self-interested wish a few moments later, as Staudenmaier shoved the small blind with {q-}{j-}, only for the gent in the big blind to wake up with aces.

Lefew has LeZero

Benjamin Lefew has been very short since losing a big pot to Jonathan Aguiar, doubling and tripling his stack in small increments.

He finally busted moments ago after getting it all in with the player sitting to his right. We didn't see the action, but Lefew stood up and was usher away by a Rio employee soon after.

Crawford Hits Two-Outer

Drew Crawford is still climbing after hitting a two outer on the turn to bust a player.

Crawford held {7-}{7-} against an opponent's {K-}{K-} but a seven turned and Crawford eliminated his opponent. His stack keeps trending up, it's now at 245,000 chips.

Hair-Raising Ride for Baldwin

Eric Baldwin found himself in a pretty bad spot, holding pocket nines against an all-in opponent's pocket queens. Baldwin only just covered his opponent.

The {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop and {8-Clubs} turn were just fine for the all-in player, but the {9-Hearts} river was not.
All in went out, and Baldwin almost doubled to 70,000.
