Eugene Todd Eliminated in 15th Place ($26,188)

Eugene Todd - 15th Place.
Eugene Todd - 15th Place.

Darren Elias opened with a raise, and Eugene Todd shipped in his 130,000-chip stack. Elias snap-called with {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}, and Todd's {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} needed help. The {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop looked like the start he needed, giving Todd an open-ended straight draw and a backdoor club draw. The {10-Diamonds} ended his flush hopes, and the {q-Spades} on the river made him a pair. Unfortunately for Todd, that queen also gave Elias the nut straight. Todd picked up his third cash of the Series but was unable to add another final table to his resume. After busting Todd, Elias now has 740,000 in front of him.

Deal With the Devil

Mark Radoja opened to 23,000 from late position and Lucas Greenwood flatted on the button. Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott re-raised to 75,000 from the big blind, Radoja called and Greenwood folded.

The dealer fanned {k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Ulliott checked. Radoja bet 70,000 and Ulliott moved all in for 262,000. Radoja quickly called.

Showdown
Radoja: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
Ulliott: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

The turn was the {j-Clubs} and the river brought the {k-Hearts} knocking Devilfish out of Event #32.

Radoja now boasts a huge stack of 700,000 chips.

Elias Takes Some from Nguyen

Darren Elias raised to 24,000 from late position, and Men Nguyen defended his big blind. The flop came out {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, and Nguyen checked. Elias bet 36,000, and Ngyen called. They both checked the {k-Spades} on the turn, and two more checks followed the {8-Spades} on the river. Darren showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, and Men mucked, claiming he had a pair of sevens.

Elias is up to 380,000 now. Nguyen still has 590,000.
