Shorr's Call

Roll tide roll.
Roll tide roll.

Shannon Shorr opened to 1,500 from under the gun and Steve O'Dwyer three-bet to 5,200 from the cutoff. Shorr called.

The flop fell {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and Shorr check-called 6,800 from O'Dwyer.

Both players checked the {q-Clubs} on the turn and Shorr checked a third time after the {5-Hearts} rivered. O'Dwyer paused for a minute then bet 17,000. Shorr called.

"Nice call," O'Dwyer said as soon as Shorr's chips hit the felt.

Shorr turned over {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for just a pair of tens.

"Very good call," O'Dwyer complimented while mucking his hand.

The call has Shorr up to 75,000 chips and O'Dwyer down to 58,000.
