Giorgi Doubles

On a flop of {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, Thomas Giorgi from middle position made it 20,000. David Chiu from the cutoff made it 40,000 and Giorgi called all in for 30,300.

Chiu: {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Giorgi: {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The turn brought the {10-Spades} and the river the {8-Spades} and Giorgi's two pair was good for a double up to 75,000. He's about even with Chiu now who sits at 76,000.

Hollink Doubles Blain

Pot-Limit Omaha

Rob Hollink limped from under the gun and then Dermot Blain potted it to 9,000 from the next seat. When action got back to Hollink, he reraised to put Blain all in and Blain made the call.

Hollink held the {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Blain the {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{9-Spades}.

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Blain was able to spike and ace and double up to 43,000 in chips. Hollink dropped back to 77,000.

Giannetti Eliminated

The money bubble has burst in pretty quick fashion here in Event #33.

$5,244 is the payout for 37-45.

Pot-Limit Omaha

Matt Giannetti has been eliminated in 45th place. He was all in preflop against Craig Gray.

Giannetti: {j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{6-Spades}
Gray: {q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{2-Hearts}{5-Clubs}

Both players flopped broadway, but Gray was freerolling with a heart flush draw.

He got there when the turn brought the {4-Hearts}. The river also brought a heart, {10-Hearts}, not that he needed it, and Giannetti was sent to the pay out desk to collect some cash.
