Stalemate

Harold Angle and Mike Minetti are swapping blinds back and forth with no major pots developing.

Although, in one pot Minetti limped from the small blind and Angle simply mucked. We'll chalk it up to being a senior moment.

Minetti Doubles

Harold Angle, who entered heads-up play with a commanding chip lead, limped from the small blind and Minetti checked his option.

Both players checked the {7-Spades}{J-Hearts}{J-Clubs} flop. Minetti then checked the {K-Diamonds} on the turn and Angle moved all in. Minetti called and showed {J-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} for three of a kind, which was way ahead of Angle's {K-Spades}{6-Hearts}. Angle couldn't hit a king on the river and Minetti doubled to 1.26 million. Angle still has around 8.4 million.

John Woo Eliminated in 3rd Place ($213,612)

John Woo- 3rd Place
John Woo- 3rd Place

Harold Angle called from the button and Minetti folded from the small blind. John Woo then checked his option from the big blind and the flop came down {4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Woo moved all in for around 300,000 and Angle made the call. Woo showed {9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for bottom pair, which was ahead of Angle's {A-Spades}{2-Spades}. Unfortunately for Woo, he was drawing dead when the {3-Spades} gave Angle the nut flush on the turn. After the {4-Clubs} was run out on the river, Woo was officially eliminated from the tournament in third place ($213,612).

Monster Pot and a Huge Chip Leader

John Woo raised to 160,000 from the button and was called by both Harold Angle from the small blind and Mike Minetti from the big.

The flop came down {J-Hearts}{9-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Angle bet out 250,000. Minetti folded and Woo raised to 750,000. Angle called and then bet 500,000 when the {6-Diamonds} hit the turn. Woo moved all in and Angle didn't take long to call, flipping over the {J-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for two pair.

Woo seemed devastated as he revealed the {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}, although he still had a lot of outs to win. The crowd leaned in as the dealer slowly burned and put the {4-Diamonds} on the river. Angle, who is now the huge chip leader, doubled on the hand to over 8 million while Woo is down to just 220,000.

Angle vs. Woo

John Woo called from the small blind and Harold Angle checked his option from the big. The flop came {6-Hearts}{3-Spades}{10-Clubs} and Woo checked. Angle fired out 150,000 and Woo made the call.

Woo again checked when the {5-Spades} came on the turn. Angle bet 150,000 and Woo called. Both players checked the {K-Clubs} on the river. Angle showed {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} but was no good against Woo's {Q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Woo is up to 4.08 million while Angle sits with 3.87 million.
