Antoine Saout on a Rush

With the board read {5-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} Antoine Saout's opponent fired a 2,000-chip bet. With about 5,000 chips in the pot, the French moved all in. His opponent snapped and Saout tabled {a-}{6-} for a straight.

Antoine Saout is now up to 32,000 chips.

Men Nguyen Busto

When we arrived at the table, Men Nguyen moved all in pre-flop for about 500 chips, and three of his opponents called.

The board {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} was checked all the way and Nguyen tabled {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, one of his opponents showed {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and "The Master" is out of the tournament.

Introducing Bashar Ramahi

After taking a walk through the Pavilion, and the 440 or so players that are still alive, it looks like our current chipleader is Bashar Ramahi with about 42,000 chips.

He recently added a few more chips to his stack when he raised to 600 from under the gun and got two callers. He bet 1,150 into the {3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop and took the pot down when the other players folded.

Hard Times for Brogdon

Edward Brogdon
Edward Brogdon

With the board read {9-Clubs}{q-Spades}{k-Diamonds}, the player in the small blind fired a 300-chip bet, was called by a player in middle position and Edward Brogdon moved all in on the button. With only 1,100 chips on his stack Brogdon tabled {q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and took the pot, is now up to 2,100.

That's Why You Don't Slowplay Aces, Queens and Sixes

Stop us if you've heard this one before: Four hands - {a-}{a-}, {q-}{q-}, {6-}{6-} and {5-}{7-} - walk into a bar and go all in, but only the {5-}{7-} makes it out alive.

Thanks to a flop of {5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}, David Lucchesi had no problem getting it all in along with three other players who had him dominated preflop. Lucchesi avoided higher full houses with the {3-Clubs} on the turn and the {9-Clubs} on the river and eliminated three players at his table in one shot.

Nguyen Wins Chips

After one player limped ahead of him, Men Nguyen shoved all in for all 950 of his chips. It was only 750 more for the limper to call, which he did.

Nguyen: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}
Opponent: {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}

Nguyen caught his ace on the flop when it came {7-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}. Nguyen was good for a double up when the turn brought the {4-Clubs} followed by the {2-Hearts} river.
